Well I was a woman on a mission this past weekend! We had a girls trip in Fredericksburg for wine tasting and shopping (more to come on that later) and it also happened to be the sixth annual Austin Modern Home Tour. So I did a lot of driving, because I couldn’t miss this event! Much like the Tribeza Interiors Tour I attended a few weeks ago, the Modern Homes Tour highlights some incredible homes all throughout the Austin area, but with more of a focus on the unique and modern architecture. This year there were 14 homes (I made it to 10 of them), and each one blew me away for different reasons. Check out the homes below, and you’ll see why.
604 Ledgeway Street West. Designed by Allen Bianchi Architects, this knockout of a home was a great way to start off the tour. Built into a cliff overlooking Westlake Hills and downtown Austin, you can tell the owners really enjoy bringing the outdoors in and have fun incorporating modern objects to make this house feel like home.
