ACL fashionistas.

Ah yes, festival season in Austin, Texas. A time where barely there clothing is acceptable and pretty much anything goes when it comes to outfit planning.

It’s no surprise I love playing dress up. In fact, a major part of why I love the infamous Austin City Limits music festival is because of the ability to switch up my usual attire for something a little more playful. Sure, the live music and mighty cone lunch breaks are great, but what really draws people (fellow fashion lovers) to Zilker Park in the 90 degree Texas heat is the consistent scouring of outfit ideas. AKA ACL is pretty much one live Pinterest feed and I don’t hate it.IMG_9809The back to back weekend long music festival attracts more than 400,000 festival go-ers and 140+ artists. This year we were #blessed with performances by Drake, The Weeknd and Foo Fighters, to name a few.

But the festival fashion is what really takes the cake. Here are some looks that caught my eye:
IMG_9791 Crop tops are a staple in my wardrobe, so I was happy to see a variety of the mid drift cut gracing the festival grounds. Round sunglasses however, really made a debut this year. I mean how adorable are these mirror ray bans (and my gal, Meggie)?! :D
IMG_9796More babes. And this ain’t their first rodeo – they know how to rock that comfy cute.

IMG_9811Love everything about this look! Southern charm.IMG_9814IMG_9823Hair styles on point this year.
IMG_9815IMG_9828IMG_9827 IMG_9818This colorful two piece look was so simple, but made such a statement. ACL at it’s best.IMG_9870On the flip side, this all black outfit was effortlessly chic. And oh so cool.
IMG_9881My mindset for this years attire was “what can I wear that I won’t get too sweaty in?”. So clearly I decided to wear virtually nada. A high waisted swimsuit and button down dress (similar here) made this fit easyyyy breezyyyyy.

And another one bites the dust, you did good ACL. Until next year.
